The West of England Mentoring partners

West of England Mentoring (WEM) is a partnership delivering national best practice in business mentoring to students across the region. The partnership benefits from unmatched track records in schools across Bristol and Bath and North East Somerset (BANES), alongside established relationships with local businesses and funders across the west of England.

Mentoring Plus has a long, proud tradition of inspiring community mentoring for young people across Bath and North East Somerset, and is a Delivery Partner of WEM.

The charity trains and supports adult volunteers to mentor more vulnerable 7 – 21 year olds needing extra support with family, education, emotional needs and employability, as well as providing mentoring and training support to schools.

ABLAZE is the go-to provider of business mentoring in greater Bristol, developing skills and inspiring habits of achievement. It’s a Delivery Partner of WEM.

Since 2005, thousands of young people across the wider Bristol region have been supported by businesses and community volunteers delivering support in schools through Ablaze programmes with the aim of raising aspiration and attainment and improving skill levels to boost young people’s chances in continuing education, employability and life.

Babbasa is a Bristol-based social enterprise that sets out to support the professional aspirations of young people, irrespective of their background. We believe that every young person has unique skills or talents, which, if explored and nurtured, can contribute to society in a significant way. Babbasa is a Collaboration Partner of WEM.

Collaboration Partner Bath Bridge is an independent CIC set up in 2014 in response to the City Identity Project. Its membership of active local businesses and influencers aims to support the city’s dynamic, inventive future by initiating and supporting physical, economic and social projects.
